CITY OF BECKLEY REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR AN ENGINEER / ARCHITECT OF RECORD FOR DESIGN / CONSULTING ENGINEERING SERVICES The City of Beckley, West Virginia, is accepting "Statements of Qualifications" from qualified professional engineering consulting firms for an "Engineer / Architect of Record" to provided design plans and other professional engineering services within the city. The immediate project is the engineering and design of a new building and plaza at the corner of Neville and Heber Streets in Beckley. Additionally professional services should include the following items; availability to work on multiple projects, current work load, technical expertise, professional qualifications, specialized experience, prior experience with similar type projects, references, surveying and mapping, preparation of all necessary permit applications, bidding for contractors and suppliers, assistance in obtaining easements and other property if necessary, location of office in which the work would be performed and knowledge of project locality.
